How to Install Peacock on Firestick & Fire TV
I‘ll cover two methods for getting Peacock on Firestick and Fire TV.
The first uses the Amazon Appstore which is the official way. However, this doesn‘t always work for those outside the US.
That‘s why I‘ll also show you how to manually sideload Peacock onto your Fire device using Downloader.
Via Amazon Appstore
If you‘re located in the US, you can install Peacock using the Amazon Appstore. Just follow these steps:
From your Firestick or Fire TV home screen, use the search function to find "Peacock".
Select the Peacock app from the list of results.
Choose "Get" to install it.
Once installed, launch the Peacock app.
Sign up or login with your account.
That‘s all it takes to get Peacock on Firestick or Fire TV using the Appstore. Super quick and easy.
Follow these steps to manually install Peacock on Firestick, Fire TV, and Fire Edition TVs:
First, install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore if you don‘t have it already. This app lets you install APKs.
Open Downloader and enable the option to install unknown apps if prompted.
In the URL bar, enter:
Wait for the APK to download then select Install.
Launch Peacock from your apps list once installed.
Login or sign up to start streaming.
This sideloading method works for all Fire TV products including sticks, cubes, and Fire Edition televisions.
It‘s the best option if you can‘t get Peacock from the Appstore due to geo-restrictions.
Install on Android TV/NVIDIA Shield
You can also get Peacock on any Android TV device like NVIDIA Shield, Sony Smart TVs, and more.
Try installing it from the Play Store first. If that doesn‘t work, sideload using Downloader.
Play Store Method:
Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV.
Search for "Peacock" and select the app.
Once installed, launch Peacock and login.
Install Downloader if you don‘t have it.
Enable Unknown Sources in Settings if prompted.
Open Downloader and enter:
Install the downloaded APK file.
Launch Peacock and enjoy!
Again, sideloading with Downloader is the best option if the Play Store doesn‘t work for your region.
Get Peacock on Roku
Roku now supports the Peacock channel. Follow these steps to add it:
From the Roku home screen, go to the Channel Store.
Search for "Peacock TV" and select the channel.
Choose Add Channel to install it.
Once added, you can launch Peacock and sign up or login.
That‘s all it takes to get Peacock streaming on your Roku device!
Download on iPhone/iPad
You can also watch Peacock on your iPhone or iPad. Just download it from the App Store.
To get Peacock on iOS:
Open the App Store on your device.
Search for "Peacock" and select the app.
Tap Get then Install.
Once installed, open Peacock and login or sign up.

Watch Outside the US
Since Peacock comes from NBCUniversal, it‘s primarily available in the United States. However, they recently expanded to Europe including:
- United Kingdom
If you try accessing Peacock from an unsupported region, you‘ll likely encounter geo-restrictions.
The best way around these blocks is to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). A VPN masks your IP address so you can bypass location restrictions.
My recommended VPN for streaming is Surfshark. Follow these steps to watch Peacock from anywhere:
- Sign up for Surfshark VPN (special discount here).
- Download and install the app on your device.
- Connect to a server in the US, UK, or supported country.
- Launch Peacock and enjoy!
Surfshark also offers 24/7 customer support in case you need help setting it up.
Using a VPN like Surfshark is the easiest way to access Peacock when traveling or living abroad.
