Requirements and Instructions for Launching HOBLink J-Term TE

Please note the following system requirements and possible settings.

A browser providing the complete JDK 1.1 is required, for example:

Requirements for testing our software when a firewall is in use

To ensure that you will be able to connect to our server/host, please make sure that the following settings are active on your firewall computer:
  - Port 1098 and 1099 for RMI
  - Java

 

 

Emulation Options

Start HOBLink J-Term Thin Edition or one of the related administration tools by selecting the appropriate option below under "Options for Starting HOBLink J-Term Thin Edition".

Logging on to the Host

To log on to the host, enter the corresponding user name and password (if required). These are "guest1" as user name and "guest1" again as the password for RS/6000, or "demo1" as user name and "omed1" as the password for HO/9000.
