HOBCOM asynchron - The mobile solution for PC-Host Communication

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

HOBCOM asynchron a product addressed to solving the problem of mobile communication allows data exchange between a Laptop, Notebook or PC and an IBM host computer. The communication can take place using any telephone connection.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to the many features available in HOBCOM, e.g. .data compression of up to 90%, HOBCOM asynchron offers a checksum control of the data protocol on both sides of the communication. Furthermore, via Datex-P up to 250 PAD users can work at any given time on the host.

PRODUCT APPLICATIONS

HOBCOM asynchron allows mobile PCs and Laptops to access the host computer. HOBCOM asynchron is ideally suited for sales representatives and others working in the field who need immediate access to the host.

HOBCOM asynchron offers:

• Up to four dialog sessions
• a printer session (LU Type 1 and 3, RJE)
• File transfer per IND$FILE
