HOBLink J-Term is a Java-based full-featured terminal emulation. The HOBLink J-Term
plug-in for Eclipse provides the programmer an interface to numerous application
servers. For example, a home-grown Java application can use an IBM Mainframe as
data source without having to itself be capable of using the 3270 protocol. The
HOBLink J-Term plug-in for Eclipse makes available the following communication
protocols: 3270, 5250, VT525, 9750, 97801, HP700.
Another use-scenario is the integration into an Eclipse-based rich client
platform. Hereby, Eclipse provides the user with all the applications needed for
his work.
