Simply insert it into the USB port of an Internet-capable PC and you're off and running. This device in the form of a USB stick requires no installation of either software or drivers on the client PC. As it is inserted, the hardened on-board application is started and, using the HOB component, connects immediately to the enterprise network with a secure connection.
After successful authentication via the Smartcard PIN, the user can access his data and applications, in short, everything he is authorized to use on the target machine.
The intelligent smart security management tool, a permanent component of the mIDentity technology, inspects both the user as well as the device properties for each connection.
