A powerful and secure browser-based remote access solution, the HOB Remote Desktop VPN provides complete network access through the HOB PPP Tunnel, replacing traditional, locally installed IPSec VPN clients. Utilizing SSL, enterprises are offered all the advantages of a highly secure IPSec VPN, without the cost, complexity and management of client-side installations. For enhanced security, the HOB Remote Desktop VPN includes an Integrity Check which scans external machines to ensure they have the latest virus signatures before permitting access. Additionally, the Web Server Gate provides secure remote access to internal Web servers and applications. The solution also offers a target filter, which restricts access to only those network resources for which the user has authorization.
