HOB launches X Windows Server special offer for students at Warpstock Europe, October 13 - 15, 2000

Zirndorf, Germany, September 28, 2000. Warpstock Europe 2000, which takes place Oct. 13 - 15 in Karlsruhe, Germany, is the largest OS/2 event in Europe. Coinciding with this event, HOB, the German software developer and Connectivity expert, announced today a promotional offer for HOBLink X11, its X Server Package, valid for students and private users. HOB is both exhibitor and sponsor at Warpstock Europe.

Effective immediately, students can purchase the HOBLink X11 V.4.6 software package for any supported operating system at the drastically reduced price of 38.30 USD (40.90 Euro). The full version for HOBLink X11 V.4.6 for 32/16-bit Windows and V.3.5 for OS/2 lists at $ 237.00 (253.00 Euro). For private users the special offer is limited to the OS/2 version (3.5). This promotional offer is valid until December 31, 2000.
