HOB Wins NT Award 2000 for "Best
Third-Party Tool for Windows NT/2000"
The "NT Award 2000", presented by IIR Technology at the
NT Forum in Heidelberg, Germany, for the "Best Third-Party Tool for Windows
NT/2000", was awarded this year to the German software developer HOB for its new
product "HOBLink JWT".
HOBLink JWT is a Java-based software
client for platform-independent access to Microsoft Terminal Server and Windows 2000

(e.g. Macintosh or Unix).
HOBLink JWT led the competition based on the following criteria:
- Originality
- Usefulness in reducing administrative work and costs
- Added value for an NT installation
- Operational stability
- Significance of the functionality offered for corporate IT
- Availability / scalability
- User acceptance
- Orientation to the future
- Price/performance ratio
HOB has also announced a new release of HOBLink JWT in July, 2000, with additional new
functions.
