Access Scenarios

Shipping companies can use SSL-protected communications to access, for example,  a customs application being hosted by an ASP. This way, the ASP retains full control over the use of its software, and the shipping companies save all the time, effort and expense of providing the required applications.

Banks can provide their customers with secure access to the applications they need for their transactions. This way, bank customers have SSL-secured access from any Internet access point in the world, at any time, and they can take care of their banking business with the highest degree of safety and convenience imaginable. Strong authentication with tokens (e.g. RSA, SafeWord, Vasco, etc.) ensures that only authorized users can gain access to sensitive information, protecting both the bank and its customers

Enterprises that outsource their  hard- or software can securely access software provided by an ASP. This could be, for example, standard software or custom software that is only rarely used. The enterprise only pays for the software that it is actually using, resulting in greater control over cost.
